Purpose - The Advisory Council is comprised of school administration, staff members, parents and a PTO representative.  Each geographic area in our community has a representative. The Advisory Council typically meets the third Tuesday of the month at 4:15 pm. Please check the calendar for the most up-to-date information. The Council’s main purpose is to advise the Principal about community and school needs which affect our students. Together, we discuss and make decisions on the Strategic School Plan, the school’s budget, test scores, and the responses to parent surveys. Upcoming Council meetings are advertised on the website and through email. Everyone is welcome to attend. The Council also publishes minutes summarizing each meeting on the school website or they are available in the front office.

The Council needs your input!  If you have concerns, see a need, have a suggestion, or are pleased about something the school has done, please let us know. Ten minutes, open chair, are allotted at each meeting. Anyone wishing to speak during open chair time should contact school administration by phone or email by 12 pm the day of the meeting. Time is limited to five minutes per speaker. The follow up discussion period after open chair time shall not exceed 15 minutes.
