It is a priority at Mountain View Elementary School to support our military families and students throughout the school year. Our school staff is dedicated to our military community, and we are here to support your child(ren) and their unique educational and personal needs. Our school is a “Purple Star Designation Program” which is awarded to military friendly schools that have shown a major commitment to students and families connected to the military. We have a Young Heroes program at MVES which supports children and siblings of military members by meeting monthly during the school year to provide additional support, involve students in leadership activities, and highlight them in special ways throughout the year. A family event is also planned annually.
