Mission

Our mission is to provide a comprehensive, developmental school counseling program to prepare all students as successful, lifelong learners to meet the challenges of the twenty-first century. Our program promotes the academic, social-emotional, and career development competencies of our entire diverse student population. School Counselors are a collaborative partnership with students, staff, parents, school division and community in an atmosphere of optimism, support, safety, and respect for all.

Vision

The students of Mountain View Elementary are inclusive, accepting, and feel like they belong here. They are developing their social/emotional well-being, a positive attitude toward work and learning and the self-confidence that will lead them to graduate on time, become lifelong learners, and create thriving futures for themselves as they become productive members of the community.
