Lice Information
If your child shows signs of lice: itching, cream colored eggs stuck on hair shafts and/or small black bugs crawling in their hair please do not panic but read the information listed at the bottom of this webpage in the health documents section. It is really important to let me know if your child has lice, that is the only way that we can stop it from spreading. Please refer to PWCS Regulation 753-2 for more information.
Health Treatment Plans
If your child has a special health condition that the school needs to be aware of, please have your physician fill out a Health Treatment Plan. These forms can be picked up in the nurse's office or downloaded from the health documents links below. The nurse and staff at Mt. View Elementary follow the directions stated in the plan to provide your child with the safest and most appropriate medical care to satisfy his/her specific health needs.
Please also remember that in order for your child to receive medication at school, there must be an appropriate medication authorization form filled out for both prescription and over the counter medications. Any medication must be dropped off by the parent in an unopened container and all medication will be kept in the clinic.
